Funny quote from the 3rd graders:
A girl in my class came into class looking a little down. "My dog had surgery this weekend on it's part where it has babies, so now my dog can't have babies."
I had my students at the back table reading a book about Endangered Sea Turtles. Boy in my class starts reading and then turns to me, "I wonder if God made the animal, the sea turtle." he pauses, "Yes, I think he did." Later on he said, "It says here that humans don't care about turtles. I'm sure that makes God sad."
Same kid as he is leaving to go back to his seat turns to me and says, (as he is patting his belly) "Did you know that sometimes you get stretch marks on your tummy? When you have a baby- Weird huh?"

THANK YOU for posting this! The last one about stretch marks makes me laugh. This means i really have to watch what i tell my kids cause they are going to go tell their 3rd grade teacher.
I love it! Kids are so funny. I am glad you are writing these things down because as time goes by, we seem to forget these funny things. I wish I would have written down every funny thing my students said. I have forgotten most of them. :( But at least I can smile about yours! :)
