Bob's 23rd Birthday!

Bob's 23rd birthday was on Sunday. One of Bob's favorite places to eat is Red Robin and he had coupon for a free meal on his birthday! (Thanks Staci!!!) On Saturday we went to the temple in the morning and after our session we went to Red Robin. Bob got his regular Bonzi Burger and onion rings. We looked around the mall after to look for a wii game Bob wanted, but didn't find it.
On Sunday I woke up early and decorated our apartment. I put together my first ever Sunday meal. I thought I should use a fool proof recipe and went with a roast in the crock pot. This being my first time using the crock pot and cooking a roast, let's just say it was a little tough. (My Mom was in Costa Rica, so I couldn't call for help. And cooked the roast on low instead of high.)This is our living room. Don't look at the curtains, I need to take them to my Mom's house and hem them, and we usually open them up during the day. --- Bob's favorite thing about the apartment, our new TV. Below is the door to our bathroom. Then our cute little kitchen table decorated for lunch. And last a picture of our living room and hallway back to our bedroom. *Still a work in progress!

Bob being the best husband ever, dealt with the tough meat and ate it. Remember the birthday plate I made at color me mine? Well here it is!!! Bob was lucky enough to be the first person in our family to use it.
I didn't take a picture of the actual meal because I forgot to take it before we started and after I tasted it, I didn't want a reminder.

***I will post more pictures when I get them downloaded. Look forward to Bob's cake, and the burn I got from the crock pot!-- oh joy!

Ha ha don't worry, the first time I tried to cook a roast in the crock pot I put it in before I left for work, so that I could come back and it would be done. Definitely took me a lot longer to get home than I thought so by the time I got home it had been cooking for 14 hours. Hah. That was a good story...
